10/25/2022 River Road Bridge Repair

A meeting was held by WisDot to discuss the damage and repair schedule. Plans for this repair started immediately and are scheduled for repair in the Spring of 2023. The description of repair includes replacing 3 girders, part of the bridge deck and the bridge railing over the interstate.  

08/15/2022 Interstate Corridor Study Introduced

A preliminary meeting was held virtually by WisDot to introduce the plans for the 67-mile i-39/90/94 Corridor Study in Dane, Columbia, Sauk and Juneau counties between Madison and Wisconsin Dells. This area runs from the Beltline to Wisconsin Dells, adding more lanes to the interstate or alternatives to handle more traffic. Public meetings will be held for residents and businesses in the area that could or will be affected.

09/13/2022-09/14/2022 Local Public Meetings Interstate Corridor

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) held two Local Official Meetings (LOM) to discuss the I-39/90/94 Corridor Study. The study team provided a study overview, share a presentation and discuss and review exhibits for the upcoming Public Involvement Meetings (PIMs).

04/12/2023-04/13/2023 Local Public Meetings Interstate Corridor

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) invites the public to the second set of Local Official Meetings (LOM) to discuss the I-39/90/94 Corridor Study. There will be two opportunities to participate. Both meetings will be held in open house format during the hours of 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. April 12th meeting is located at the Yahara Elementary School Gymnasium. The April 13th meeting is located at Wisconsin Dells Middle School Gymnasium.
